Tar bonded gravel? So hot tar and chip surfacing, like you see on some roads?

to get liquid tar you need heat, its a job for the companys who are kitted up to do it as the hot tar comes in a tanker then the gravel is spread using a lorry mounted spreader, best option is to sub-contract it out MSH :)

As I thought; specialist work with specialist tools, equipment and dangerous materials.

The small area will be the main factor, you'll need to find a contractor who will do small areas.

Colas and the products you need are either patchmaster or leopave. both are squeeged onto a sound/clean tarmac surface and 6mm down chips broadcast on top.

You'll probably have to diy it, but should be able to get product off the shelf from your nearest colas depot.

Been given a contact / installer over reading way
principle is very simple
but to answer my own question their supplier is in Germany and the product is imported in 200l barrels in a liquid form then heated on a burner

Simple process
