my drive has been down for 3 weeks now. i have read that you shouldnt seal for at least 3 months, but is it possible to seal the joints only not the blocks. does marshalls keybond do this? if yes how much is it and how do you apply it to the joints only. are there any other joint only sealers out there? does sealing the joints keep the sand in them better?

Do you really need to stabilise the joints? Are you losing significant quantities of jointing sand? If not, then why waste money on stabilising compounds, but if the joints are emptying, then can you ascertain why? Is it simply scour or summat more serious, such as incorrect laying course material?

There are other stabilisers, such as Oscrete and JointFix, but unless I know why jointing sand is being lost, I prefer not to use them and wait for all the eff to dissipate before relying on a quality sealant to both stabilise the jointing AND protect the paving from stains.
