I am soon to lay about 200 meters square of block pavers next to my garage once I have had the asphalt drive completed. My question is this, I want a very rustic looking, random appearence type paver or cobble as I am in a very rural area and wonder from the experts(?) which one they think looks the best. I know that beauty is in the eye etc but there are so many to chose from I want to narrow it down a little. Suggetsions please.

Your profile states that you;re in Scotland, which means your choice is limited to Tobermore, Marshalls, Paver Systems and, if you can find them, Cemex and Charcon. I can't tell you which is best for your project, but if I had to pick one rustic paver from each, then I'd suggest you research....

Tobermore - Tegula
Marshalls - Driveline Excel
Paver Systems - Trident
Cemex - Chelsea Setts
Charcon - CountrySetts

Also contact Philip SInclair of Scot-Kerb who has samples of a new cobble, if you like them he could make them for you. If you are interested I can post you a brochure.
best of luck
