I havew laid a really good subbase of MOT and have 100mm to finished height. originally i chose a 50mm block but have now found a 60mm block i like better, how important is the depth of sand can i use a 60mm block or is that leaving the sand too shallow for an excellent result. appreciate your thought on this as this is my first attempt at block paving. although I have done plenty of other paving.

All is explained on the main site under block paving construction. Looking at that drawing, (taken from said page)If you have left 100mm and want to use 60mm blocks then all is fine

You've not read ANY of the main website at all, have you, Roders? Go away and do so immediately, and don't you dare come back until you have!
