I need to have some paving re-layed after having a drain put in. I would like to have ago at doing this myself but just need some suggestions.
1. Should i take all the blocks up to the house and start again.
2. What base should i use as it as all been mixed up and will require replacing i guess.
3. And when i make a right ecking mess i much should a contractor charge todo this.
Also i'am thinking of using block paving for a patio, so what level would i have to dig out for this and what sub base do i need.

i would say about £2-300 would cover a professional doing it
its a lot harder making good than doing it in the first place
