Hi All,

First time on this site and what an excellent site it is....only thing is I'm a bit confused by all of the information.

I've moved into a house which already has a block driveway. Whether it was installed professionally or not I've no idea, but I'm guessing it's a number of years old.

I have weeds that come through it every year and from what I can tell there is no sand in the gaps (a bad thing reading this site). It also isn't sealed.

Can someone recommend what I should use to reseal the gaps and then to seal the driveway. If anyone has any useful links on where I might buy the stuff and what sort of price I would be paying it would also be very much appreciated.

Many Thanks

Jase

A job for the summer months, but start with step one in Spring.
1. Thoroughly weed kill drive (I recommend "Round Up")

In Summer.
2. Power wash the drive (go easy, all you want is to clean the surface and part flush out the joints)
3. Once dried brush in fresh Kiln Dried Sand and remove excess,
4. Select your sealer and get it on.

As for sealer and cost, you need to decide on that - but remember "you only get what you pay for"
Start with a builders merchant or http://browse.uk-plc.net/Compani....cts.htm
