Hi,

I need to construct a drive and parking area adjacent to a TPO tree and have to use a 'no dig' method. Does anyone know of a block paved solution which provides a porous surface with minimum base course?

Thanks for this LLL. It is in fact where I started and does not resolve the main issue - No Dig!

Due to the underlying tree roots, we are not permitted to dig down into the existing ground - we also have the restraint of tying in with the pavement level - so need a 'thin' system that will effectively sit on top of the existing ground. Any bright ideas?

How about something like ACO GroundGuard. You could fill it with gravel too. Perhaps just where the roots are incorporated into some kind of pattern.
