Hi,

I am having my driveway block paved and I did not realise it would be so
difficult choosing the block I want and the colour.

I live in a red brick house and I don't want a red'ish looking drive. But the choices seem limited when you move away from the reb blocks when trying to contrast with a red brick house.

I ahve looked ata marshalls and Toppave blocks.

I have had a close look at the Regatta / Classico blocks in Autumn Mix colours, which is very popular in my location but to me they are too bright. the driveway stands out more than the house, which is not the effect I want.

I want the driveway to be subtle, smart and classic looking that contrasts with the house.

I (think ) I have finally settled on a Marshalls Driveline
Elite block in Heather colour with a Circle in the centre and charcoal Kerbs where appropriate.

Does anyone have opinions on the Driveline Elite block and Heather colour, does anyone have any other suggestions that I should look at.

Thanks

Mitch

the classic drive colours for a red house are brindle or autumn mix,the reason for this is that any small oil spills wont be too noticable, charcoal kerbs always look nice
the circles look nice but you need quite a large area for them to come into their own
anything under 30 m2 it may look too busy
all marshalls products are fine, but the right installation is much more important for longivity
in terms of a classic look i would go for clay pavers every time but it depends on your budget
clay may cost up to 20% more
hope this helps
