Hi,
Been reading this site for a while now in preparing to lay my 155sq mtr drive - and there is some great advice
I'm about 40% through laying the drive now and wanted to check that this was efflorescence, and would eventually disappear, before continuing further.
I've posted a picture of the bricks @ http://www.dalbuie.com/garden/p7090003.jpg
Many thanks.

Yes - that's eff ... and put some shoes on when you're working with block pavers!
Whose blocks are those? They're heavily affected for this time of year. If it was March I could understand all that eff, but in July, I'd expect it to have all but disappeared.

Cheers.
They are Marshalls Driveline 50s from the Marshalls ebay shop - so they've probably been about for a while.
They have been in my garden for 12 weeks wrapped in polythene which probably hasn't helped.
Do you think it will all clear in time?
Only took the photo in bare feet - I work in steel toecap flipflops

Having them cocooned on placky-wrap for the past 12 weeks has probably made it worse, but, as with all eff, it will clear ... eventually.

mind if I ask how the purchase process went...were they quick with delivery etc?
Any issues with buying via ebay as opposed to buying direct?
