I am new to this paving business and applied joint sand before compacting my pavers. The result was uneven pavers. I need help to determine what to do next to get level pavers. Thanks!

Lift the blocks - re-screed - lay them again.

I can't understand how brushing-in the KD sand before compaction has caused uneveness. Roughly 80% of contractors work that way. I think you've buggered up somewhere else!
