I,ve been quoted £5,000 for a 90m2 driveway to be layed with Marshalls tegula blocks by an approved Marshalls fitter. It's a pretty straight forward job with one drain cover to replace and a nice fall to the road. I know the Marshalls blocks are £18 + vat per m2 so I think it's quite a good price I just wanna be sure.
p.s. I would have considered the Tobermore tegulas but I dont think we can get them down here in East Anglia. Regards Andy.

As I repeatedly say, the only way to check whether a price you have been quoted is a fair price and is a competitive price, is for you to invite at least two more contractors to price the same work.

We can't see the site: we can't take into account all the variables: so we can't say whether it's a good price or not. What you're asking is akin to asking is 5 grand a fair price for a Ford Mondeo - we can't see the condition, the mileage, the service history, etc., so anything we say would be nothing more than a guess.
