Hi, my indian flags are going down well and even if I say so myself looking good (even managed to use the dark jointing mortar); although only possible because of this site.
I now want to border them with some Setts. I've been looking at some dark granite setts that are set on a mesh backing. I'm keen to use these as they look good and should be easier to lay. However, what system should I use. They will be forming the outer border of the patio area with the indian flags one side and decorative gravel the other. Can I just bed them on a semi-dry 10-1 mix the same as the Indian flags, or do I need a concrete mix? If I use the semi-dry should I butter the edges to keep them in place? I'll post some photos soon, as I'm quite pleased with the way it's all worked out.
