Hi
I've had 4 quotes for block paving for a 39m2 front garden for just plain 50mil paving and having a bit of a wall knocked down to allow for a car ranging from Â£1500 - Â£2900. Can anyone tell me why there is such a big difference and what should be a fair price for this job. (2 quotes from small companies Â£1500 & Â£2600 2 big companies Â£2100 &2900) Help please!!!!!!

It is very difficult to price a job without looking at it, we have to take into account Access, exisiting material, drainage etc

however for a straight forward drive look to pay between Â£47-55 m2 for the standard driveline 50 block, so for your project between Â£1900-2200 and always ask to see the contractors previous work
