Hi all,

Not sure quite how to go about this one and maybe some one here can help!!

I have an area of about 30 square meters of herringbone laid red clay bricks that have been over the years been painted with a red tile paint!

I now need to know what is the best way of getting the paint off – seems too much of a larger area for a chemical stripper – some people have said not to sand blast it – some have said use a floor grinder!

Any comments greatly appreciated

Paul

A paint stripper would be the most sensible approach. Any mechanical method (Floor Grinder, Needle Gun, Sand Blasting) would cause damage to the bricks.
