I checked the search engine and couldn't find the answer I was looking for, but I know it is probably out there. My question is I want to put in a driveway using block or brick, and what I want to do is put in two paths just wide enough for the tires on my vehicle, maybe slightly wider, with grass in the middle and on each side. Now, I found this page

which says I have to put in a concrete edge. My question is do I really need to do a concrete edge (or haunch) for each path half a meter wide? I do get a good bit of rain where I'm at, and the soil seems to be a mix of clay and sand. I'm new at this and still planning, so any help you can give me would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
