Does the screeded sand need compacted ? - Screeding sand, compact or not ?

All forms of block paving, brick paving, flexible or rigid, concrete or clays, new construction or renovation

Just like to know after you lay the screeding sand at 50mm whether you

1. Compact the sand before you lay the screed rails ?

2. Compact the sand after you lay the screed rails ?

3. Or just rake out the screeding sand and screed it as
it lays without compacting it at all !
