I have a 150mm insitu concrete slab on a damp proof membrane over compacted sub soil with a portland stone edging with concrete hauncing all part of the slab. I want to use clay pavers in between my portland edging but do not want a mortar joint in between the clay pavers. What type of bed do I need to use for the clay pavers.
I was hoping to use a semi dry cement mortar compacted down then lay the clay pavers on this and butt them up to each other then brush a semi dry mix into the joints? Is this alright? The area will have light pedestrian use only.
