I hope a meister is on the board!

I just ordered a few tons of sharp/grit sand from local builders merchant. The stuff that has arrived seems to be washed building sand with some grit in it, seems quite soft to me! I queried what it was they sent me and to what BS it conforms to.

They had to ring the quarry to find out! But they tell me it is to BS882 M (medium?) or BSEN12620. Can anyone tell me if this is suitable for a bedding layer under concrete pavers (Driveline Excel)? The main website suggests this is Ok for flags, but not clear on what to use for blocks. Initially this is going into some small areas so will be tightly held by edge restraints, but I wil alsol be doing the main area of the drive (120sqm 8x15 meters) soon.

Should I use it or send it back?

BS882 M is fine (well, it's medium, but you know what I mean!)
