Thank you for your enquiry received via our website.
Unfortunately the information on pavingexpert.com is a little out of date as our products have been re-branded. (We have requested that pavingexpert.com alter their website, but it is evident that this has not happened!)
As you state that you are "just about to complete my drive and garden ..", we should advise you that you need to leave the paving for 8 weeks prior to sealing in any event. This is to allow any efflorescence (white lime salts) to come through, so that it can be removed before sealing.
The choice of sealer depends to a large extent on the type of paving you have and the finish which you require.
For concrete block paving, you have a choice of a 'wet look' finish or a matt finish:
'WET LOOK': RESIBLOCK SUPERIOR - 2-coat polyurethane sealer which gives guaranteed protection against oil and grease stains, and prevents weed/grass growth and ants' nests in the joints as it binds the jointing sand solid. This product is available from builders' merchants - eg Travis Perkins, Jewsons, Build Center - and therefore we cannot give you information on costs as the merchants set their own prices. RESIBLOCK SUPERIOR comes in 5 litres and 25 litres. The coverage rate is approx 3 square metres/litre for the 1st coat and approx 6 square metres/litre for the 2nd coat.
MATT FINISH: RESIBLOCK '22' - 1-coat polyurethane sealer which helps to reduce staining, and also prevents weed/grass growth and ants' nests in the joints. This product is only available direct from Resiblock Ltd. RESIBLOCK '22' comes in 5 litres and 25 litres @ £30.63 and £143.00 respectively; prices exclude carriage & VAT. The coverage rate is approx 2 square metres/litre.

For clay block paving, it is not really possible to 'seal' the surface as such as clay is generally of low porosity. However RESIBLOCK '22' can be used to stabilise the sand in the joints.

For flags and slabs we would recommend RESIBLOCK RESIECCO. This is only available direct from Resiblock Ltd.
