I have decided to have a solider edging course using 175mm*140mm Tobermore 50mm blocks. Though I am a first timer DIY'er my intention was to have professional mitre joints in the edgings.
Using the instructions on this website a 90 degree mitre for 175mm*140mm blocks would require completing the joint with a 35mm square fill in piece!! Is this too small a fill in piece?
With these size blocks are there any other ideas how I can get mitre joints without such small fill in pieces? Would I be better off leaving out mitre joints?
Thanks,
Simon.
