hi all , i have to measure up for paving, std block pavuoirs, how many to a sq mtr in herringbone pattern, i work it out to be about 45????

200mm x 100mm blocks?
50 blocks per square metre plus 5% for wastage and cutting.

Blocks are usually sold by area, not by number, unless you're buying from one of the DIY sheds where they sell individual blocks for 25p or so.
