Good to hear from you again, Suki! Been busy?

50 quid per square metre is about the average for most contractors north of somewhere around cambridge-Towcester-Gloucester. It's a bit pricier south of that, and a little bit cheaper in parts of NE Eng-er-land, Scotland and Norn Iron.

4320 quid is 72 quid per square metre, which is 61 quid excluding the VAT, which isn't excessive given the existing concrete drive has to be jack-hammered out and got shut of. However, as I say time and time again, if you get only one price, don't come crying to me if you find yourself being ripped off. Always get at least 3 quotes.

Well i always find that cheaper is not better, cheaper usually means they are short of work meaning they have a poor standard of work.

Get three quotes and go for the middle one is the usual rule, if you go for the cheapest then u might get half a drive lol.

More enigmatic comments from "The Manager" - perhaps you'd like to give me a call and confirm or deny what I think the news may be? I'm sure you have my number! ;)
