Firstly, congrats on a great site, without all the info I have gained here i wouldn't even be contemplating constructing my patio myself (or i would have done it wrong)
My garden slopes towards my house, I have eliminated as much of the slope as possible, unfortunatly if i dig down further, my garden will end up being substantially lower than those around it which i don't want.
I'm constructing a patio of concrete slabs, with a soldier course of blocks around it, about 15m square in total.
As a result, I will be using the enhanced fall arrangement as i won't be able to get the full 15cm below dpc (probably between 7.5 and 10).
My first question is, should I undercut the blocks slightly so they are flush with the wall or leave them as is?
After the soldier course, I will have 1 row of 60x60cm concrete slabs, a linear drain (aco-drive drain type stuff) then the rest of the patio sloping uphill.
Second question, can you see any problem in this arrangement?

I think I understand your layout, and it seems fine - there's to be a course of soldier blocks against the house itself, and then a course of 600x600 concrete flags, nboth of which are falling away from the house towards the linear channel. On the other side of the linear channel, the paving backfalls, towards the house, but any surface water would be intercepted by the linear channel. Seems fine to me.
I think you;ll find that you don't need to undercut the edge course blocks. Even with 25mm or so of fall on them, the gap between block and masonry is still minimal and it's easily filled with the jointing sand.
Good luck with it - let us know how you get on.
