My neighbour and I have (almost a year ago) embarked on applying for a dropped kerb. We have now at last been given permission. We will share a double access (rear of property) with our existing fence dividing the available parking area. I indent to install block paving.
Can anyone recommend a type of edging for my block paving which will allow me to get as close as possible to the fence. I’m concerned that it should be quite substantial as the drive will be taking the static weight of one car almost permanently. Haunched precast concrete edging seems to take up quite a bit of room.
In addition, I would be interested to know what type of edging would be suitable as a transition from block paving to patio slabs, carpet stones or similar.
Suggestions welcome please.
