Can anyone help me? At the moment i have a tarmac drive with about 100mm of solid concrete underneath it. I wish to lay a block paving drive and want to know will the tarmac be any good as hardcore? as i'm going to have to smash the concrete up as well i was going to try to kill 2 birds with one stone, because i need some soil for my garden i was going to dig the soil out and infill with the concrete and tarmac. Is this advisable or not?

Can I suggest that "Start New Topic" be confined to the webmaster for the "Notcieboard" option?

The answer to this question is that as bitmac degrades it is no good for hardcore. (See, I do read the main site).

I know what you mean about restricting this part of the forum, Jon, but I don't want to prevent other Brew Cabiners from being able to post messages relating to the performance of the board in this section rather than, say, in The Craic or other forumses.

So, for now, I'll just move the topics when they appear in the wrong place. :)
