Can anyone tell me what is the best way to sort out an old rutty weedy gravel drive - on a budget?
My questions are:
What depth of base, are road planings ok or is there a better option, what depth of gravel for light traffic, do I need a membrane down to stop weeds, what are the best edging materials - sleepers any good?
I suppose the question could be: what is the minimum spec for the least price without doing a rubbish job that won't last.
Also, is there any calculation of how much a square metre or yard etc a gravel drive might cost. Ours is very long!
Any replies very much appreciated. Apologies if topic has been done before.
