is it possible to get blocks that are 3 times longer than they are wide (eg 300mm x 100mm)? If so who produces them?
There is a 3:1 block, but it's technically a brick, ie it's a clay paver, and it is 200x66mm, not 300x100. It's manufactured by Blockleys and sold as 'Tri-pave'.
Years ago, Marley used to do a 3:1 concrete block paver (CBP) in a 3:1 ratio, and sold it as 'Trio", but it disappeared when Tarmac TopPave bought out Marley's CBP business about 4 -5 years back. As far as I know, there's no 3:1 CBP on the market in the UK/RoI just at the moment.
