Anyone know which would be the best JCT contract to use when having the driveway block paved.

I've looked at the site, and it looks like the WCD98 Standard Form of Building Contract
With Contractor's Design is the right one, but it's a bit confusing.

Any ideas

Is that the....

"Joint Contracts Tribunal (JCT) "Building contract for a homeowner/occupier" ?

WCD98 seems a bit to wordy for such a simple job of work. On previous jobs I've seen the Minor Works Contract used to good effect, but I've a feeling there is a contract specific to residential paving works somewhere on one of my pooters.

I know we used to offer clients a contract, back in the days when we took on residential work, and I recall "borrowing" heavily from a contract drawn up by my pet lawyer for another, similar job, to create a sort of 'template' that could be adapted to all paving jobs for driveways and patios, but, as I stopped contracting over 5 years ago, I'm not sure just where it is any longer.

I'll have a root around over the weekend.
