A sealer that darkens block paving?

I've just completed block paving the front of my house and couldn't have done it without this excellent site - thanks for all the work you must put into it - now to my query, I want to seal the drive (it's about 45 square metres) and also darken the block paving - I've contacted Resiblock and they're advising me to use RESIBLOCK ULTRA MATT at £296.00 (excl. carriage and VAT) for 25 litres :shocked: ! - I know you think that Resiblock is the best but do you know of an alternative that would have the same effect but would be cheaper?

Try Techcon - 01384 566533 - tell Jan that I referred you and she'll talk you through their 'offerings'.

From memory, they don't have a "matt" finish product, but I think they have a low gloss acrylic that might be of interest to you.
