I am considering laying the above which will be covering an area.3m sq. I think I have the base etc sorted but I am not sure about the following
1. How to lay the design out
2. How to incorperate a fall
3. How to caclculate the no. of blocks required as it is circular.
4. How to finish it off around the edges.
5. Laying the wretched thing, filling the gaps etc.
Hope to hear from anyone who can help and give me those all important 'insider' tips

As mentioned previously, I do have a page in development copvering the installation of circular featutes, both flags and blocks, but, because of my sojourn in Wythenshawe Hozzy, and other demands on my time (such as pesky kids) I've not had a chance to finish it.

Anyway, to answer your points briefly...

1 - put a pin/peg at the origin of the circle and mark it out by swinging around a tape measure to mark the perimeter.

2 - make the cente higher than the edges by around 1:40 to 1:80

3 - If you buy a circle kit, it's already worked out for you.

4 - You need an edge course that is laid on and haunched with concrete to keep everything in place.

5 - Start with the centre stone, then lay each ring consecutively, working your way outwards until you come to the outermost edge course, which is laid on concrete. Tap the edge course down to level, haunch it, and cover the pavement with jointing sand, and backfill around the edges. 24 hours later, when the concrete has had a chance to set, you can consolidate the lot, but try to avoid 'wackering' that outer edge course.
