I am looking to extend an existing crazy paved patio over an area where I have removed a redundant flower bed. Can anyone help in identifying the type of material the existing patio is constructed from? I thought it might be Cornish Slate or Donegal Quartzite, but I don't really know. Please see attached photo. Also if anyone can identify the material, where would I likely be able to pick up approx 10 M Sq of it?

Best Regards

Mike

Its the right colour for donegal quartz but we need a few photo's close up on the stone to confirm.

If it is quartz it will have distinctive staright veins/grin running through some slabs

it could be a multitude of stones and even if you get the same stone the quarry will have moved on so it will be hard to make look right
I would either rip the lot up and do it all in 1 hit or choose a complete different material for the new bit
you have to be crazy to lay crazy paving
