I'm building a garden path using granite setts, and was going to try a resin mortar like Rompox Easy.

The path will have two short steep ramps, both about 1m long and rising by 30cm - roughly a 1:3 slope.

My question is, is a resin-based mortar like Rompox Easy ok to use on a steep slope?

I wasn't sure if it'd be 'sticky' enough to stay in the joints, or whether it is free-flowing and might come out.

I'm using rough edged setts, so the joints may be up to 15mm in places.

No problem with the easy joint stuff as its quite stiff I woul compact all the joint as the brush in stuff can deteriorate over time.

in my experience the polymerics do NOT stand the test of time
2 part resin compounds are better gftk for instance or good old sand and cement

Thanks for the advice. I'd read about Romex Easy on the main site, but since looking through the forums here it doesn't get a good report. I think I'll go for the GtfK VDW-800 instead. I made a few inquiries and apparently it's ok to use on a slope.

I'm just a DIYer, and didn't feel confident that I wouldn't leave a lot of stain marks with traditional sand and cement. I did try a test run, but found pointing the rough setts was a bit tricky compared with flat flags.
