could i have your advice again, how would you tie in a brick and a half square colum in the centre of a single brick wall. await your reply .i will try and send you some
pictures of the on going job.

Depends on the layout, but basically using the following pattern will do the job. You might have to 'flip' every forth course, to avoid straight jointing, but it depends on the height of the pillar....



...which gives this sort of structure....
