First I'd like to thank you for a great, informative web site.
I've been looking for a supplier of a shell-based product here in California like the Crag you've listed. I have visions of a walkway around my backyard that reminds people of a European garden. All I can find in my area is decomposed granite. I have found oyster shell but it's very very fine and used for soil conditioning or else Bocce courts. I'm looking to cover about 800 square feet (that's 75 m2 for those of you who use a real measurement system).
Is this just not to be found in my part of the world? Any suggestions on how to track down a source of the stuff? Should I collect shells on the beach and start grinding?
Thanks,
Tony
