I plan to lay TopPave Classico Circles around a tree and am worried where to start, inside or small circle first and should I use the floating edge for the outer circle. There will be a short straight run off either side of the circle. Roots close to the surface may be a problem since the existing concrete has heaved and cracked.

Try to start the paving no closer to the trunk of the tree than 300mm. Ideally, you should be 700-1000mm away, but this would leave nowt of your circle.

Start at the inside edge and work outwards, relying on the floating edge method to fix the perimter course.

Doing these circles around trees is much more work than you may at first realise. It seems to be an extenmsion of Sod's Law that the blocks indicated on the TopPave template never, ever give a complete circle when laid out on the ground, and when laid around an obstruction, such as a tree trunk, they're even more difficult!
