Hi guys

Basically ordered a load of materials and the customer changed thier mind.

Travis are saying I have to pay for them it's in their terms and conditions. I never picked them up. They were a special order. I have offered to pay for shipping back to the original location of course. They say they are no longer a stock item so I can't.

WTF

Is this a thing? I mean it seems to me, as inconveniencing it must be to them, that I the customer do not want the goods they have procured, hence I have not picked them up, so I should not pay for them.

Correct or what the hell??

Sounds correct to me, i over-ordered some fancy bricks from a merchant last year and they only took them back on the proviso that they will refund me when they sell them.

I have a ride over every now and then and they are still sat in the corner of the yard :D

Special Order items cannot be returned, standard industry terms - surely you'd not be wanting to take back SO items if you were the seller??? I wouldn't!

I get it of course. Just unusual compared to the normal realm of things.

Anyhow, paid for them. Hopefully they sell them at some point and give me my money back.

What a PITA, approaching winter an all...
