Now now Dan, you don't begrudge a man having a pint on NYE after grafting hard all year? There is such thing as a sub m8. It's a times when your skint that you find out who your real pals are :;):

No I dont begrudge, but I do get sick of the ones who moan about having no money, yet still find it for cigaretts, tatoos and gambling, while in the pub day in day out

funny enough they were subbing off the landlord
one guy reckoned he had 3k in his account on the 18th December but 12 days hard drinking etc and he had £48 left
I kinda know what Dan is saying as well as Sean
to me if you are anywhere near skint dont go to the pub!

Times when i used to do that kind of money even 30 years ago it's a given that someone returns the compliment, so yes i would go to the pubs skint with just the latch lifter in my pocket. But as i said " you soon found out who your friends where." I did hundreds of thousands on the piss with hangers on. Gave it up with 3 months in rehab 26 years ago. Mates are s'posed to carry each other but i found out the hard way that when you hit rock bottom there are no "mates" left ???
