Tell HMRC and they'll go to work on them. How were you paid and did you get any remitance slips?

You have proof of payment, no need to worry. The onus will be on the contractor.
Are you sure they haven't made the payments, how do you know?
Are you registered as a sub-contractor?

Yes I registered as a sub contractor with CIS, I rang them to ask how much has been paid in and they told me nothing has. Basically I'm just getting shipped about every time I try and talk to someone about it, either by CIS or HMRC

If lads aren't registered with CIS I have to deducted 30% until they can be validated that's isn't a great conversation but we issue a certificate each month after the return to each CIS register subbie
