OK so i was a sub contractor for a company, they led me to believe they were paying my CIS, taking 20% of my wage, well they were not paying it so ive been robbed basically, what can i do to get it back? i dont work for them anymore. be kind :D

Tell HMRC and they'll go to work on them. How were you paid and did you get any remitance slips?

yes i Have told HMRC, nothings happened yet, i was paid directly into my Bank , i have invoices but they didnt even give me reciepts

You have proof of payment, no need to worry. The onus will be on the contractor.
Are you sure they haven't made the payments, how do you know?
Are you registered as a sub-contractor?

Yes I registered as a sub contractor with CIS, I rang them to ask how much has been paid in and they told me nothing has. Basically I'm just getting shipped about every time I try and talk to someone about it, either by CIS or HMRC

If lads aren't registered with CIS I have to deducted 30% until they can be validated that's isn't a great conversation but we issue a certificate each month after the return to each CIS register subbie
