anyone know much about them need to buy one for 2 weeks in summer, me and the mrs going to glastonbury after her sisters wedding in Ilfracombe, done with tents etc.
got a quote to hire a vw transporter style one and its £600 for week plus a £300 premium if going to festival
so was going to buy a small caravan tow it down with my navara then sell it afterwards
i don't know jack about them though plot size is 8m long by 7m wide so gotta park truck parallel to the van,
thinking something like this

My caravan would have been ideal for you Giles, centrally positioned for you between Glasto and Ilfracombe! Sadly long gone now. I can recommend a site near Ilfracombe!
What's your budget?

We've got a house in ilfracombe for the 4 days for wedding but I'll have to take it with us as I'm not going Sheffield and back few times, hopefully be space for it somewhere hahA. So it's only for 3 nights at glasto I was thinking 1-2k but as long as it tows ok and isn't damp most will be fine.
Are there makes to avoid etc or ones to look for?
Bride and groom coming to glasto as well in grooms mum camper a 90s shape transporter with pop up roof.
So it's kinda extended wedding party vibe

this all sounds very middle class to me Giles
my 2 trips to *glasto* I bunked in and managed to survive 2 days sleeping in the open :;):
costs a pretty penny now and has lost something with that
however it keeps them thieving scouse gits out
(apologies to any thieving scouse gits reading this, but my mates car was taken from above festival and found burnt out in bootle)

me and the mrs have done the wet soggy muddy tent want something better this time round
Dave what the chance of us parking the van in your yard for 2 days while we are in ilfracombe then pick it back up on the way to glasto?
as tyring to park it down that way would be a nightmare if not ill try find a farmer or caravan site to leave it at for a few days.

Giles, not a problem, either at my yard or on my drive. Drive would be more convenient for access to M5 etc. Plus totally safe overnight here on drive. 1 mile from M5/J26, one junction North of the one you'd use for Ilfracombe.
