watched the game last night and thought England played really well

Thought they played well and were the better team, unlucky. Should have the measure of Uruguay, just need that belief in themselves.
Lets see someone with a bit more pace than Gerrard and continue with the young guns.

That Sterling miss should have been in. Tough group, Rooney is useless on the left wing too. Hopefully they'll pull it out of the bag for Uruguay

I said I didnt think they would get out of the group and it looks to be the case
there was some sad cnut in the cafe today bleating on about this that and the other so i asked him
"who would you have taken instead?"
he didnt have an answer
the best english players were there and were beaten by 2 better teams and will probably get done by costa rica tuesday
until kids learn to pass the ball at school instead of running round like headless chickens we are doomed

I think the commentators hit the nail on the head when they said that we were beaten by Ballotelli and suarez rather than Italy and Uruguay.

england are the only team I have seen at this world cup whose sole strategy is give it to a winger and get a cross in
how about running into the box?

I hate football, and the world cup even more so. The chavs putting silly flags out their windows and now hanging them half mast, the stupid flags on cars which snap as soon as you go over 60mph, or fall off when you open the window, and the idiots with beer bellys hanging out the bottom of last years england kit, with bald heads sitting in the pub gardens singing, "engerland, engerland, engerland" , while holding up a pint of beer. no such country as engerland. But there is england.
dont get me started on people putting up the union jack for football.
glad the overpaid idiots are out.
p.s. if we did win, whats in it for us?
