thought id upload these last year we went to america twice

5 weeks in total for two weddings, first trip rochester>new york >torronto

2 nd time rochester>all over new england and east coast above new york>toronto

saw some lovely work and some shocking work.

stayed in posh hotel in Stowe which is a ski resort the stone work rd the pool etc was rubbish, put plenty of good concrete and block work.

some lovely examples from bath in maine as well thats the compass in the block.

photos look good Giles, I like the dark coping's and steps as a contrast to the paving and walling

I'm guessing it's like buy a brick type thing to fund it,

The one with the soldier statue was all the names of the local guys who died in the Korean War

Some nice work there, it's good to see what goes on in other countries for inspiration. The paving around the pool, I think we've all seen worse.
That plate of noodles is making me feel hungry, hope you eat it all!

that was a jacket potato the size of a rugby ball called the monster outlaw, with 1lb of pulled pork on it bacon bits, 4 cheese sour cream etc

there were 6 big lads there and non of us managed to finish ours enough for 3 people

for reference the polystyrene cup was a litre size! so about 300mm high!!

Fork must be about 2' based on the cup :p
