Hope someone can help,
we recently had a porch built and the builders mixed the concrete onto the tarmac pavement directly outside my house. Only noticed it recently after the recent continuous rain where it has shown up more and looks very messy.
Any ideas how this can be removed, quite a lot for me to chisel off using hammer and screwdriver

Thanks

I'd have the builders back pronto and have them clean THEIR mess up.

Other than that, Roger from R & A Pressure Washing will be along soon to offer advise.

It really annoys me to see mess like this, when it is almost always TOTALLY avoidable......

If it's the public highway, it's strange that the local council haven't said owt, but I'm with LLL: get the dirty buggers back to clean it up.

An A-board right next to the staining with the message "Concrete staining of public highway by Bloggs & Co" might persuade them.

As for the 'cure', it will probably be acid + high-pressure water.
