I owe a mate a favour and he needs to provide one of his clients with 30 Tonnes of 100x200mm (or 4" x 8") reclaimed granite setts. They need to be clean and tidy because it's an upmarket job.

Nomally, I'd start calling around my usual contacts and visiting a few yards, but I'm not bloody well enough to drive or sit up for more than an hour or so, hence the appeal via the Brew Cabin.

Any leads....???

We had an 8 wheeler load of sandstone setts tipped on a job and riddled out with the 8 tonne, 4 tonnes of shite?

They do have some huge piles of setts though, its probably a bit much to ask them to sort through it all lol

Hillside stone at glossop has them bagged up, we've got about 100 tons in the yard but all mixed and theyre kinda needed for extending the drive at home.

Oh ours aren't granite theyre gritstone/sandstone

Have you seen the prices at Steptoes? The last time I asked them for anything, I needed good quality reclaimed yorkstone flags. Nae problem they said, that'll be a bargain 105 quid/m² plus VAT plus delivery!!!!

I can buy cheaper in that London!

took those slates off that roof last week
250 20 10's (countess) and 230 22 12's (small duchess )
anyway the little ones are £1.20 to buy and the bigger ones are £1.75 to buy
i was offered 10 p each for the little ones and 30p each for the bigger ones
I am in the wrong game, thats like 600% mark up
