I hope you are all having a good Christmas.
To be honest I'm a bit bored and I'm actually looking forward to getting up early tomorrow and going to work for the day :p

Hoover dam is just amazing. Did you walk onto the new road bridge and look down to it??

no we only booked the evening before and all the VIP tours had been taken so we drove over the dam, got out and walked over the dam and the tour of the inside
the guide we had was very good and it was a great experience

i did the dam tour 13 years ago and that and the jack daniels distillery are by a country mile the best tours I have ever done
the guides are so knowledgeable and when you think of all the men that died making the dam in the great depression it is an eye-opener
I am starting to realise why the fly-cruise combo was so cheap
the cruise (3500 miles straight across the atlantic ) in early January is likely to be rough and cold
that and the norovirus that normally strike around this time mean things could get interesting
I like watching the "deadliest catch" but never wanted to be in it :;): :;):
