Employ a broker to get the best deal on your behalf.

Choose a broker that you can trust.

Direct line are advertising on radio just now saying they will beat any quote.

I use OAMPS but I'm limited in my choice because of the hazardous goods.

Changed over my van insurance last week to nfu after reading a post on here, saved 250 quid. Didn't know they done public liability, have to give them another call!

There's a misconception that if you cut out the middleman, its cheaper.

The big insurers prefer to deal with brokers to minimise their risk, hence you will get a better deal if you go to a broker.

Obviously, when you make a claim, its miles easier to have your broker working on your behalf.

Of course,if your outfit is one man and a van,the above might not apply!
