My regular supplier of 6mm limestone agg has sadly gone to the wall.

I've been phoning around and most 'suppliers' seem to be just shysters who want to make a profit by sitting on their arses and making a couple of calls.

Any leads on a supplier/quarry that can deliver 20tonne loads to sussex without me feeling like I've been mugged?

PS Sorry if this is in the wrong bit of the forum - I've been away...

Days is my very next port of call!

Yes, I was dealing with Dudmans. A great shame to see them go, but having said that they've gone under and resurfaced before, so fingers crossed.

Problem sorted - twice! Days are pricier than expected (back in the day I usedto know Old John Day well. He sold me a jukebox!) but I found a local haulier in the short term who saved me a few pennies.

And - best news - Dudmans will be back in business subject to lawyers' approval on Monday!

Dudmans an unfortunate name for a company that keeps on going bust.
I know I shouldn't think like this without knowing the facts but I can't help thinking that everytime they go under there may be some innocent party that gets stung.
