Hi can anyone tell me a supplier of coarse graded aggregate in Harrogate, 4/20 or type 3 for a sub base.

costs per ton as well is poss :D

Here ya go, you will probably have to negotiate your own price, i doubt many locally would want to pass on the deals they get as you could well be the opposition.

type 3 is more open graded to allow a degree of drainage through it.

Yep, quite commonly used down here, SHW 803 MOT Type 3 Reduced Fines (not zero fines, though)

yep i need an aggreate that will compact but allow some drainage. type 1 is not suitable. I need to find a supplier of type 3 or 4/20 aggreate in Harrogate. cheers guys.

most builders merchants will stock 4/20mm as it basic concrete aggregate, but it's unlikely that any will stock Type 3 - but this will be available from any local quarry as it has to be blended. Type 3 would compact better than 4/20mm, but 4/20mm will have more voids so will be more porous.
