Stoopid Parking

...but they left him an escape ramp! Far too generous!

We had summat similar when re-paving Preston town centre 20-odd years ago. Some arrogant twonk moved our 'Road Closed' barriers and parked his BMW on our newly laid paving. Came back a couple of hours later to find the car surrounded by a dozen or so packs of 80mm blocks and no-one willing to listen to his bullshit excuses. Let him out eventually - the police didn't quite share our sense of humour.

Happened in our local town; road was due to be planed off, advance notices put out etc - but one car remained in place.

Upshot of it was the owner couldn't be located so they had to resurface around it and return [at great cost] when it had moved.

I'd have dragged it away - and have done so on previous occasions on housing estates.

Should have *moved* it with whatever is available, i.e 3cx, then chalk it down to a harsh life lesson for not being able to comprehend clear warning signage

more than likely a consultant visiting 'relatives' abroad and taking advantage of free parking (on his £160k a year salary.
Lots like that in Coventry University Hospital.

Should have done what they do in China

Can't damage the car because he would just claim it on insurance.

Nice how that has no protection or lighting, a couple of weeks and a Mitsubishi will be stuck in the living room :D

weve moved cars before on jobs, dragged them with the 3cx etc did some palisade fencing to a car park, put a barrier up and signs got there to start 5 cars had decided to park so moved them

on last job this olb boy insisted parking his old 3 series right on the corner at the bottom of steep drive on 90 degree bend made it a nightmare to get travis rd or anything bigger than a car, id asked him 3 times not to park there and wed coned it and red taped it he'd move them, so i parked 3cx behind him and the little utility tractor in front. let him out after an hour
