BE CAREFUL IF SHOPPING IN ASDA OR TESCO'S

Over the last month I have become a victim of a clever Eastern European scam while out shopping. Simply dropping into Asda for a bit of shopping turned out to be quite an experience. Don't be naive enough to think it couldn't happen to you or your friends....
...
Here's how the scam works: ...Two seriously good-looking voluptuous 20-21 year-old girls come over to your car as you are packing your shopping into the boot. They both start cleaning your windscreen, their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy T-shirts. When you thank them and offer them a tip, they'll say 'No' and instead ask you for a lift to the town centre.

You agree and they both get in the back seat. On the way, they start undressing, until both are completely naked. Then, when you pull over to remonstrate, one of them climbs over into the front seat and starts crawling all over your lap, kissing you, touching you, and thrusting herself against you, while the other one steals your wallet!

I had my wallet stolen November 4th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th, 17th, 20th, 24th and 29th. On December 1st, 4th, 6th and twice yesterday. So please warn all the older men you know to be on the lookout for this scam. The best times seem to be just before lunch, and about 4:30 in the afternoon.
P.S. Sainsburys have cheap wallets on sale for £1.45 each!

Chips do not come out of an oven. They come out of a chip pan, preferably one filled with lard or beef dripping.

Due to the eternal vigilance of the medicos and the dietician in Warrington, I can only have chips once a month at most, so when I do have them, I want proper chips, not some frigging healthy, blanched, perfectly cut, homogenous, tasteless pap. A man has his limits, you know!

Theres new evidence to show that what was thought to be a healthy diet isn't so. Being slightly overweight may be better for you than being 25 BMI all day long. Fruit juice is now being called 'bottled obesity' A large section of individuals were surveyed for a heal;thy eating study. They found only roughage made a difference, fresh fruit and veg made not a jot. They went so far as to say frozen is just as good, and tinned a close second.

all the chipies down here are halal gaffer so only use peanut oil
I meant as far as oven chips go these were the best I have tasted
I agree with the weight thing
my old man has been 16 1/2 stone since he was 25 ,me too
he is 68 and still works every day
what has shagged his contemporaries is fags and booze
also the reliance on "ready meals"
corn syrup and trans fats are nobodies friends
cue carberry..........

What is defined as healthy changes every week in the papers depending on which quack scientist has been bought off by <insert food group association here> to push their agenda.

This is the advice I follow, it's 7 rules from John Berardi:

1. Eat every 2-3 hours, no matter what. You should eat between 5-8 meals per day.

2. Eat complete (containing all the essential amino acids), lean protein with each meal.

3. Eat fruits and/or vegetables with each food meal.

4. Ensure that your carbohydrate intake comes from fruits and vegetables. Exception: workout and post-workout drinks and meals.

5. Ensure that 25-35% of your energy intake comes from fat, with your fat intake split equally between saturates (e.g. animal fat), monounsaturates (e.g., olive oil), and polyunsaturates (e.g. flax oil, salmon oil).

6. Drink only non-calorie containing beverages, the best choices being water and green tea.

7. Eat mostly whole foods (except workout and post-workout drinks).

BMI was invented in the mid 19th century as a means of quickly calculating how fat the general population was. 200 years later there are much better methods.
The biggest issue is that it doesn't take in to account muscle mass and is absolutely useless for working out how healthy an athlete is, or anyone who does a reasonable amount of exercise is.

Bloke at work likes everyone to know that he shops at Waitrose.
I think it's to do with that apart from a Tesco Express it's the only supermarket in his town.

My missus uses Asda and over time has found what to avoid and what's really nice.
She avoids Sainsburys because a lot of their stuff has very short 'Sell By' dates and she hasn't got the time to inspect the date on everything she picks up. It's not uncommon to find stuff where the sell by date runs out the same day, most shops would reduce this to make sure they are not lumbered with it but not our local Sainsburys.

I thought Waitrose was the one supermarket paying the farmer a fair price for his produce ?

Bob-A ... Sainsbury's pretty on the ball here - local well known cheap skate builder came in the pub at last knockings, to announce when he got to till, with coupons, price match, etc, they owed him 37p........ prob bollox but he bought a round !!

Would never darken the doors of Tesco - from the days of Lady Shirley Porter - they insidiously screwed up the whole of our next door town Amersham - with their shite toytown architecture, and promising to remain a sole food grocery outlet.
Expanding by the year, into clothes, electronics etc - not to mention the 24 hr gas station. Hate everything Tesco stands for. :)
